Because of the increase in COVID-19 cases in our region, the Bishop and cabinet have urged all North Georgia churches to reconsider their plans, especially those of us in higher risk counties. Our Church Council has decided to hold off on our church’s reopening of in-person worship but will revisit this decision on a weekly basis as the infection rates in our county continue to change. In addition, we are considering outdoor worship as a lower risk option. We appreciate your patience, welcome your feedback, and pray that this season of uncertainty will lead all of us into a deeper dependence on our unchanging God. As Charles Spurgeon, a great 19th century preacher, once remarked, “When we can’t trace his hand, we can always trust his heart.”
