UNITED METHODIST MEN
RIDES FOR VETERANS
The United Methodist Men provide transport for VETs to the Atlanta VA or other sites. We currently serve three men in our congregation and are open to the needs of others. For more information, contact Eddie Robertson at email@example.com.
What are Handy Helpers? We are Neighbors Helping Neighbors, an outreach ministry of Waleska UMC – We are a group willing to help neighbors with small tasks which they are unable to do for themselves. No job will be too small for us, but some will be too big. Some possibilities would be: hanging pictures, minor toilet repair, planting flowers, fixing a sticking door, replacing light bulbs, replacing smoke alarm batteries, move some furniture, transportation to Publix or Doctor’s Appointments – We don’t do dishes, gutters or windows. If you have a job for us to do, please e-mail Roger Albee at firstname.lastname@example.org
WALESKA UMC MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT GROUP
The Waleska UMC Marriage Enrichment Group (MEG) meets once a month in a face-to-face setting with up to eight couples. Each month, the couples address a different topic. The goal of the couples’ time together is to focus on their relationship. Though some social time is built into the schedule, the majority of the time is spent with couples dialoguing “knee-to- knee.” Childcare is provided.
